Insights into the World of IT for High School Students

In today's digitalized world, Information Technology (IT) is an integral part of our work and daily lives. At LinoPro GmbH in Dresden, we aim to foster young talents and contribute to the education of future professionals.

In the past, we have offered internships to interested high school students, providing them with insights into the world of IT.

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming Salomo, a 9th-grade student from Ferdinand-Sauerbruch-Gymnasium in Großröhrsdorf.

During his internship at LinoPro, Salomo had the opportunity to explore various aspects of IT. He delved into the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which play essential roles in web development. Alongside traditional learning materials, he had access to our experts and additional resources such as ChatGPT and selfhtml.org.

Implementing Exciting IT Projects: Tic-Tac-Toe and Memory

One of the highlights of Salomo's internship was the implementation of two exciting projects: Tic-Tac-Toe and Memory. Using the techniques he learned, he developed these popular game classics.

Insights into the Structure and Organization of IT Projects

In addition, we provided Salomo with insights into the structure and organization of IT projects. He learned about the various roles and responsibilities within a project team, including Project Leader (PL), Technical Lead (TL), and Team Members (TM). These were explained to him using an example project. Furthermore, we introduced a complex automation software used in the CAD industry. Salomo had the opportunity to familiarize himself with the software development process through a practical application example. This experience expanded his understanding of the use of IT solutions in the industry.

In addition to the technical aspects, Salomo also supported the day-to-day office operations at LinoPro. He assisted in organizing documents and supported our team assistant with essential tasks. Through these activities, he gained valuable insights into the daily workflow of an IT company and gained practical experience.
